Disney is known for innovation in its theme parks, cruise ships, rides, attractions and even food and beverage offerings. So when I heard that the newest Disney Cruise Line (DCL) ship, the Disney Treasure, has a new line of bubbling beverages, I couldn’t wait to see what kind of magic it would contain. And after checking them out in person this week, I’m here to tell you that these new flavors are hauntingly unique.

The catch: These sodas are super exclusive. Read on to find out more about them and learn how you can taste one for yourself.

Where can you find the new Disney soda flavors?

When is a soda more than a soft drink? When it’s part of the spooky good fun at the new Haunted Mansion Parlor on board the just-launched Disney Treasure. The brand-new Disney cruise ship is the only place you’ll find an array of never-before-seen drinks, including some ghoulishly good sodas.

The Haunted Mansion Parlor is sure to be one of the hottest spots on the state-of-the-art ship; it’s as much a show as it is a lounge. The space channels Disney’s classic Haunted Mansion ride and includes eerie organ music and a disembodied voice calling to the ghosts and ghouls around you (for fans of the ride, you’ll be getting Madame Leota’s chilling séance room vibes).

I don’t want to ruin any of the surprises, but be sure to keep an eye on the paintings on the wall. They go through—let’s say a transformation—during your visit.

What are the new Disney soda flavors?

Four chilled and chillingly named new soft drinks are available only at the Haunted Mansion Parlor. Each comes in a glass bottle, which reveals a hidden component of the drinks: Although they look transparent at first glance, if you swirl them, a sparkling lava-lamp effect takes over the bottle. Extra sweet is the fact that these drinks have zero calories. According to the menu in the Parlor, they cost $5 each (which is reasonable for a beverage with this level of built-in show).

Here are the four flavors of new sodas (or “potions” as they’re called in the Parlor):

  • Creepy Crawly Cola
  • Sour Shivers Lemonade
  • Screaming Soda (a cream soda flavor)
  • Grim Grinning Grape

What other drinks are available in the Haunted Mansion Parlor?

Not a soda fan? No worries! The Haunted Mansion Parlor has plenty of other exclusive options “conjured to liven thy spirit,” as the cocktail menu says.

In the “spirit-free” category, the Ghoulish Delight combines purple ube-sweetened condensed milk, oat milk, tapioca pearls and a bit of sparkle (plus some eyeball gummies). Creepy Crawly Cola makes an appearance in the glowing Ghostly Retreat, where it’s mixed with grenadine, black cherry and, yes, gummy eyeballs.

If you want to try a more “spirited” cocktail, go with the tequila-based Black Margarita. It’s served in a cloud of smoke and has a secret message in its lime salt foam topper, which is revealed with a black light.

Who can visit the Haunted Mansion Parlor?

Any guest sailing on the Disney Treasure can visit the Parlor during daytime opening hours. However, it becomes an adults-only space in the evening. (You must be 21 or older to drink alcohol any time of day.)

Note that the space, like the ride, is dark, and there are a few mild frights. But the Parlor, like the ride, has friendly ghosts only, so most kids should be OK here. (It’s truly more fun than frightening.)

How can you set sail on the Disney Treasure?

The Disney Treasure will be docked at Port Canaveral, Florida, an easy ride from Orlando if you want to visit Walt Disney World too. The ship embarks on its maiden voyage on Dec. 21 and will sail seven-night itineraries to the eastern and western Caribbean.
